G-Land
is a renown surf camp situated on a remote stretch of coast in
East Java. Surrounded by the dense jungle. It is ten kilometers
from the nearest road and thirty kilometers from Grajagan - a
fishing village on the other side of the bay. From March to
October, deep ocean swells peel flawlessly across this half
kilometer stretch of coral reef producing some of the longest most
perfect tubes anyone is likely to see.
TRIP TO G-LAND
DEPARTS FROM BALI
You are
collected from hour hotel. Comfortable air conditioned buses take
you to Gilimanuk, a three hours drive. Then the ferry to Java
Island takes about half an hour. A one hour drive from harbour
takes you through Banyuwangi to Choko Bay Resort, just outside
Grajagan Village. At day break, we make for the river mouth to
board a boat which takes twenty minutes to reach The Camp.
